From concept to launch, I led the design of Stack Mode — Marshall’s first feature allowing users to connect multiple Bluetooth speakers across models. The key challenge was balancing chipset constraints with the need for a seamless experience across both physical buttons and the app.

With a holistic design approach, I worked closely with engineers to translate what Bluetooth offers into clear, usable interactions, while shaping a cohesive experience for the whole product line across firmware, app, and product interface. But also, to ensure the design worked at scale - across diverse hardware, without relying on screens. Stack mode works with Willen, Emberton II, and Middleton.
